Every day we use the small white cups with letters R and F from Design Letters ;-) 

It's all based on the same Arne Jacobsen’s vintage typography. 
This Danish company have launched a ton of new design products at Maison & Objet 2014 in Paris. 

I especially like the Stool & Storage stool, designed by Christian Flindt. 

It is a multifunctional stool with built-in storage , so perfect for an extra seat, for laundry, 

kids toys etc. so it could stand in a bathroom, hall , children's room, 

and that's what I call a good design product.

ferm living - weekdaycarnival - emmasdesign

I got so exited when I saw that Rikka from Weekdaycarnival & Emma from Emmasdesign 

were asked by Ferm Living company to make pictures with products from their new collection. 

Rikka is living in Helsinki, Emma in Stockolm and Ferm Living is based in Copenhagen! Why they would like to mix all of this? Well, because the two ladies are one of the leading design bloggers .  I'm such a big fan of Rikka style and her blog is on my list forever…it was really a wow effect when I saw those pictures, and don't know why it took me so long to show it here. What I like most about them? Of course the geometric , minimal style, but at the same time very playful look. I'm sure they had such a fun making it! 

Ferm Living even made whole new catalogue with the inspiring pictures the ladies made… Enjoy!

LILLENORD magazine

Last week I received the very first issue of LILLENORD, a brand new and beautiful magazine representing urban nordic family lifestyle. 

Since I am always on look out for kids' interiors, I was happy to see something different than black&white Scandinavian style! The first print issue is full of inspiring Kids' fashion, Home decoration, DIY, recipes and lots more. 

The "Room Service" editorial pages, photographed by Monica Bach are my favorite, with a minimal touch and products from Lucky Boy Sunday and Ferm Living. Two scandinavian brands Lille Nord love and support, the other on their list are:  Hay, Normann Copenhagen, We Do Wood, Marimekko, Fine Little Day, Polkka Jam, Flexa, Garbo&Friends. In this issue I stopped by interesting interview with Lisa Stroander, Johanna Magoria, which are pinpointed by Lille Nord as the future of Scandinavian design. 

Thank you Lillenord for the press materials and such a inspiring magazine!

colors in february from broste copengahen

I'm totally into this beautiful color pallet from Broste Copengahen for a new season. 

The white stones with textiles look so great…yellow, turquoise and different tones of pink. 

I'm so busy working on the Rafa-kids new furniture and some textile products which we will add to our collection in Spring…

It's time for some colors ! Looking for Spring so much!

Peter’s Table & Chair by Hans J. Wegner

A timeless classic, this Carl Hansen Children’s Table and Chair by Hans J. Wegner 
has been in production since 1944. This is my very favorite set for small kids. Looks so great, which is down to both style and simplicity of design. Sturdy and safe, it's made from pieces of wood that can be assembled and disassembled again and again - no tools are necessary. Peter's Chair was designed by Wegner as a present for the baby son of Wegner's friend and colleague Børge Mogense.

Kids' Design book from BRAUN

We are very proud that Rafa-kids' beds are featured in KIDS' DESIGN 

book by Michelle Galindo released by Swiss publisher Braun. 

The volume: 

" ... presents a selection of the most innovative designs for children, 

from novelties to established classics. It is for all parents who value great design and want to pass it on to their children."

We find it amazing that being only 1,5 years on the market we are standing between such a good companies as Oeuf or Kalon Studios.

There is plenty of other great products for kids in this book but I cannot take pictures of it all :)

no closet ?

Clothes racks are coming to our interiors from shops and industrial world. I noticed that wardrobe is getting out of the cupboard ... I like this simple clothes rack designed by Simon Legals for norman copenhagen. It has an industrial look and simple construction, provides space for clothes, shoes and bags. 

Instead of free standing clothes rack we can also have one fixed to the wall or selling + some nice bench underneath. Beautiful solution for a big hallway. The one on the picture is coming from Denmark, designed by Christina Liljenberg Halstrøm for Georg Collection for Danish design company Trip Trap. 

Minimal, elegant and clean design. First I need a big house and then I can put it all in!
