MOMMO DESIGN STUDIO
Oggi vi voglio presentare il mio studio. Si tratta di un grande Ikea hack! L'ispirazione l'ho avuta da un hack visto sul sito ikeahackers.net.
Tutto quello che vedete è ottenuto trasformando qualche articolo di Ikea.
La parte del leone la fanno però senz'altro le scatole TROFAST. Sì proprio le scatole portagiocattoli di plastica bianca sono state utilizzate sia per rivestire il soffitto, sia per creare le librerie.
Munita di seghetto alternativo ho tagliato (con molta pazienza...) il fondo delle scatole che poi sono state fissate al muro con degli stop, alternandole a delle scatole chiuse ma luminose (dentro ci sono i led di Ikea naturalmente...). Al soffitto ho fissato invece le scatole meno profonde sopra a delle strisce di led adesive: il risultato è un soffitto luminoso molto d'effetto, perfetto per illuminare l'ambiente un po' buio.
Dimenticavo! Anche la scrivania è costituita da due vecchi tavoli Ikea rovesciati. Sul piano in legno ho fissato le solite scatole, mentre le gambe sono servite come piano d'appoggio per un piano in vetro sotto al quale trovano posto sempre le mie care TROFAST stavolta usate però come cassetti.
Certo il lavoro è stato lungo però credo di aver ottenuto un buon risultato e con pochissima spesa.
L'unica nota negativa è stata la gente in fila alla cassa dell'Ikea che guardava il mio carrello stracolmo di scatole ( praticamente avevo svuotato il reparto bambini) con aria interrogativa domandandosi che diavolo ci dovessi fare. Solo la povera cassiera me l'ha domandato e io ho risposto: "è un po' lungo da spiegare", e lei: "vabbè vada che c'è la fila!"
Today I want to present mommo design studio. It 's a big Ikea hack! I got the inspiration from a hack saw on ikeahackers.net. Everything you see is obtained by hacking Ikea's items, but the TROFAST boxes have the starring role. Ikea's toys storage boxes were used both to cover the ceiling, and to create the libraries. Equipped with a jig saw I cut the bottom of the boxes which were then fixed to the wall, alternating with closed boxes with LEDs inside. I fixed to the ceiling the smaller boxes over adhesive strips of LEDs for a very effective ceiling light!
Even the desk is obtained from two old Ikea tables . On the wood I fixed the boxes, while the legs become a shelf for the glass top beneath which are placed TROFAST boxes used as drawers.

IKEA HACKS FOR KIDS (part 2)
Ancora Ikea hacks per la camera dei bambini. La Lampada Mammut che vedete sotto è nata per caso, forse come tutti gli hacks, perchè mio figlio piccolo aveva cominciato a tirare le sedioline dell'Ikea fino a che le gambe si sono rotte e me le ritrovavo sempre dappertutto. Così un giorno mi è venuta l'idea di trasformarle in qualcos'altro, anche per toglierle di mezzo, ed ha funzionato!
