The work of legendary Enzo Mari (1932) an Italian designer is making me simply speechless. What a talent! Maybe you already know his famous simple fruit prints and wooden Animal puzzle or fable-game ? But did you know, that he actually made some amazing furniture? Some of his wooden furniture pieces made in 1974, are called Autoprogettazione. It translates as "self-projects," or "self-design, self-made". His idea was to create furniture that you actually could make yourself with just a hammer and simple wooden pieces. You can see here how Enzo Mari is making his own chair. I see this concept often in modern designs. Enzo Mari is and will always be a fantastic inspiration. His work is just amazing.
