Flux and Spotty Chair

Which folding chair do you prefer? I will definitely go for the first Peter Murdoch’s spotty chair from the 1960s. This chair was forward-thinking for its use of polyethylene-coated laminated kraft paperboard and was sold in supermarkets and department stores as flat sheets. It was easily assembled at home by folding it on the pre-scored sheets.
The modern Flux chair is made of polypropylene and it is also sold as flat sheets and easily assembled by folding. Flux "one-piece foldable design chair " is designed by Dutch designer- duo Douwe Jacobs en Tom Schouten.  To produce the chair they engineered a state-of-the-art injection moulding machine in the size of two buses!  ;-)
